PLATON FLEXI ORIGINAL  Decoupling Membrane 

The Platon Flexi® Original yellow decoupling mat consists of 3 layers. The core consists of a polypropylene (PP) dimpled sheet. PP non-woven fleece is laminated on the underside, guaranteeing excellent substrate adhesion. While the thermo-bonded green and white mesh improves adhesion and reduces the consumption of tile adhesive on the top surface to "only" 1.2 l/m2 . This 3-layer structure with its special material compatibility provides a secure layer for a safe and stress free tile installation. The fleece ensures good anchorage in the tile adhesive and distributes residual moisture in the substrate. Polypropylene layer is waterproof and is essential to ensure optimal grip with the tile adhesive C2-S1, used in all installations. 

The decoupling covering PLATON FLEXI is intended to be installed as a crack preventing membrane under ceramic tiles and natural stones on the floors:

• in private and public shower rooms
• in bathrooms
• in laundry rooms
• in toilets
• in interior areas
• on heated tiled floors
• under the large format floor tile applications

The membrane should be bonded to an even load bearing substrate using the appropriate tile adhesive C2-S1.
